This layout is reviewed again considering the feedback on existing layout. The reviewed layout 'CRULP Urdu Phonetic' version 1.1 is compatible with Unicode 5.1. The new version is also compatible with Microsoft Vista.

This is an urdu version of the classic word puzzle in which a hidden word in urdu diction is to be revealed. The game opens with showing some dashes representing letters in the hidden word.

Center for Research in Urdu Language Processing (CRULP) released 'CRULP Urdu Phonetic Keyboard Layout v1.1' for Microsoft platform on October 2007. That layout was based on extended version from InPage to incorporate Unicode character set for Urdu.
