How to add watermark (text or image) to video and DVD on Mac?

As we know, watermarks can be used for protection or adding comments to your videos. Then how can you protect your video with a logo or watermark with just a few clicks?

This guide aims to tell you how to add watermark (image or text) on video files (MP4, M2TS, M4V, MKV, WMV, ASF, MOD, 3GP, TS, TRP, AVI, MPEG, FLV, etc...) and even DVD movies easily on Mac OS X.

1Run iMedia Converter for Mac

To install it, simply mount the .dmg archive by double-clicking it, and drag the application to your applications folder (or wherever you want it).

2Load DVD or Videos you want to add watermark

Drag & drop the DVD disc image DVD disc or video file(s) to the grey area. Or go to “File” menu, chose “Load DVD” or “Add Video/Audio files” and navigate to the files you want to add.

After a DVD or several video files are imported successfully, you can see all of them listed in the program.

3Choose and enable "Watermark" function

Move the pointer over the thumbnail of DVD or video you want to watermark and choose watermark from the pop-up menu. In “Edit” window, check “enable”.

4Add TEXT Watermark or Image Watermark to Videos or DVD on Mac

If you want to add Text Watermark to the videos, just follow the steps below:

  1. Check text watermark option text watermark option to edit text watermark.
  2. Type the text you attempt to use as watermark in text watermark area.
  3. Click click A to select the font you like for the text.

If you want to add Image(in .png or .jpg format) Watermark to the videos, just follow the steps below:

  1. Check image watermark option to edit image watermark.
  2. Click   to specify the image you want to use as watermark.
  3. Drag the slider to adjust transparency, text position, and text size.

5Finish editing and start to convert.

Close the edit window to save the settings.

Then choose the output format such as MP4, MKV, WMV, MOV, M4V, AVI, FLV, 3GP, 3GPP, 3G2, MPG, ASF as you want.

After all the necessary settings and editing job, the last step is re-encoding your video.
