With Effective-Journal you can create some wonderful and colorful entries. Insert pictures and emoticons to liven up your journal. We have made a variety of emoticons as well. In Journal you can format your text with the same controls as in Microsoft's WordPad. The Text is Rich Text based, which is universal, so its easily transferable. You can easily search for events which have been previously logged.
